The BioCyclesRN team organized its second workshop on the potential of biogenic residues and their cross-sectoral utilization options. As part of a targeted matchmaking process, stakeholders from agriculture and industry were systematically brought together on March 24 to clarify requirements, needs, and expectations, as well as to identify synergies and concrete opportunities for cooperation.
The workshop in Mannheim also provided a space for exchange among private individuals and representatives from science and research: At a roundtable discussion moderated by Andreas Rudi and Raphael Heck (KIT IIP), key prerequisites and framework conditions for a functional biogenic waste platform were discussed as the foundation for forward-looking, effective matchmaking.
The day provided exciting insights, new findings, and initial promising ideas for flagship projects, from which both the participants and the project team were able to benefit.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants and contributors: It is only through your active participation that this project, funded by the Ministry of Consumer Protection, Rural Affairs, and Food, can realize its full potential!
