Strong Showing at the KongressBW

14th KongressBW: Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Congress
We are growing – we are demonstrating this positive signal in various ways at KongressBW: On October 22 and 23, we will be there with our new exhibition stand in the Liederhalle Stuttgart. The premiere was a great success – we attracted the attention of many interested parties, engaged in exciting discussions and networked with our members who also had stands (FRENVI GmbH, envima).

Members of ours (FRENVI GmbH, Chemische Werke Kluthe GmbH, Südzucker Group) presented their approaches in the workshop “Renewable Carbon: Paths to a Defossilized Industry” – moderated with her usual competence by our managing director Anna Schmidt. Other topics we want to take up and discuss with you are the better use of waste heat and more flexible thinking about energy production and use.

State Secretary Dr. Andre Baumann (speaker at this year’s Connect Green!) promotes more urban mining, not only in building materials, but also in other substances such as precious metals, as well as rethinking ownership in favor of sharing. He considers the return/take-back of products and corresponding cooperation in take-back systems to be increasingly important. He is certain that the circular economy is and will remain a driver of innovation.

The results of other forums reinforce our approach: Together, we are on the right mission – to promote bio-based raw materials, efficiency issues, and the circular economy concept. This also involves bringing about a change in mindset: Sharing, cooperation, and exchange are important, as is a change in the culture of error. It is precisely this mindset that distinguishes our members – which is why we are delighted that so many of them stopped by our booth at KongressBW!
