The task of the Department for Economic and Structural Development is to support Mannheim’s companies and to strengthen the innovative factors of Mannheim as a business location. DataOMMM supports organisations in making data-based decisions for future-oriented and sustainable HR management. In the area of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), a particular focus is on supporting organisations in the collection and integration of the relevant S-metrics. In addition, DataOMMM develops data-based solutions to put the well-being of employees at the centre of attention and to shape the transformation of the world of work in a sustainable way.

FRENVI – short for FRiendly ENVIronment – is a German-Indian start-up founded in Germany in 2019. FRENVI’s patented, edible cutlery products EATlery® replace conventional plastic cutlery and help to reduce plastic waste. FRENVI is also researching waste reduction through upcycling and valorisation of biological waste materials. The CTC3DF process developed and patented by FRENVI enables the production of 3D-moulded and break-resistant materials from a wide variety of heterogeneous and highly moist primary and secondary waste materials.

As part of the WILLERSINN Group, it offers customized solutions in waste disposal, recycling and materials management. The company’s own sorting plant enables differentiated waste separation and returns valuable resources to the economic cycle.
Through individual disposal concepts, G.A.S. supports companies in optimizing their waste management and implementing sustainable solutions. The company has already commissioned a 360 kW peak PV system on its premises and is currently in the process of drawing up a CO2 balance sheet. With this commitment, G.A.S. is actively contributing to environmental protection and resource conservation in the region.
