Which materials can one company make the best use of that are left over as supposed waste by another company during the manufacture of its products? This is exactly what the topic of secondary raw materials and the associated working group is all about. And it’s about an open exchange and trust – as the residual materials can be used to draw conclusions about production processes and much more. The participants were able to find out more about what is produced in the region at the recycling and waste management company G.A.S. GmbH & Co. KG on Friesenheimer Insel – and were amazed at how important precise sorting is for recycling.
